Hear what others are saying about Hopegivers

"I strongly support their great work." Speaking to Dr. M.A., Hopegivers Founder, Dr. Bright said, "Thomas, if I knew that my $25 a month could do this much, I would have invested most of my money in this work. I praise God for letting me help you get started in 1960." - Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade for Christ

"Hopegivers International is not just a humanitarian effort or evangelism crusade, rather it has remained focused on the training of local indigenous leaders...experiencing exponential growth." - Jerry Falwell, former chancellor of Liberty University

"M.A. Thomas...I know of no one in my 60 year's ministry, nor does history record a man who has been responsible for establishing such a glorious ministry since the days of the Apostle Paul."- John Hash, founder of Bible Pathway Ministries

"This organization is being blessed of God and can be trusted to do what they report to be doing." - Jerry Rankin, International Mission Board

"Samuel Thomas...Neither persecution, poverty, or personal hardship deter him from the task to which God has called him. His unstoppable dedication and determination to plant hundreds of thousands of churches in unreached areas of India has inspired thousands to take part in this magnificent mission. He, and his ministry, are strategically positioned to reach India for Jesus Christ." - author and speaker, John Maxwell

"These orphanages are absolutely teeming with life," Andrews said. "These are the happiest, most vibrant, most joyful kids I have ever met in my life. They know what it is to experience hunger, cold, disease, persecution, and even death - but they know even more the reality of having their prayers answered by God."- Meredith Andrews, recording artist

It has been my privilege to have supported and partnered with Bishop M.A. Thomas, his son Dr. Samuel Thomas & Hopegivers International for over 30 years. I cannot imagine what India and the entire 10/40 Window would be today if not for the faithfulness of Bishop and Dr. Thomas. We stand ready to answer the call and be prepared to accept any challenge that they present to us. - Bible historian and International Director of the World Bible Society, Dr. Craig H. Lampe

"Across our globe, Christians face daily persecution for their faith in Jesus Christ. One of these individuals, Liberty University graduate Samuel Thomas, is the president of Hopegivers International, an organization that ministers to throngs of homeless children throughout India. Two years ago, Sam was arrested in New Delhi by several men claiming to be police officers. At the same time, his father, Dr. M. A. Thomas, was forced to go into hiding, with a bounty on his head. Sam was eventually released, after spending 47 days in jail, but he faces continuing threats from anti-Christian extremists. Last year, several students under the care of Hopegivers were attacked on their way to a service at the Emmanuel Seminary, many of them injured while being dragged from trains and buses.
Are you ready to face persecution because of your faith, while remaining true to the cause of Christ, as Sam and M.A. Thomas have? The true test of our faith is how strong it is - how it sustains us - when the chips are down." - Liberty University, Dr. Jonathan Falwell

"The Thomas family and Hopegivers ministry is the very best and proud how God has shared out through them in so many ways and continues to use the ministry in a tremendous way.  Most of all I like the way how they keep Jesus Christ as the very center of all they do in their ministry . . .it is all about Jesus being lifted up, people getting saved so they can focus on meeting their physical needs thereafter. It is indeed refreshing just like the name says that, there is hope being given through Jesus Christ through Hopegivers International." - Dr. James B. Epting, President of North Greenville University
