Learn more about God's provision of Clean Water in Uganda!
We consider finding a solution to this problem as critical. Most of us have heard the sobering statistics - 24,000 children under the age of five die every day from diarrhea caused by drinking unclean water. And over 88 per cent of all deaths worldwide, resulting from diarrhea, are caused by individuals drinking unsafe water. This is not just a sad statistic to us. This is about our family! At Hopegivers we send out tens of thousands of Pioneer Missionaries to places that have never heard of the Pure Water in Christ that gives eternal life, but they also have never known what it means to drink safe, clean, healthy water that sustains our earthly lives. Since many of our missionaries who work in these areas also rescue orphaned and abandoned children, they have a burden to provide these children with a hope for a life that can start with something as basic as clean water.
Over the past year, we were introduced to the folks at Sawyer Water Filtration. Sawyer makes a filter that is small, durable, and affordable - yet it can produce 1 million gallons of safe, clean drinking water! For just $50 we can send a Pioneer Missionary into the mission field with the water that brings eternal life - Jesus - and an ability to have clean water for him and his family, along with the children they rescue. Praise God for Sawyer!
