Haiti Eathquake

Learn how Hopegivers is partnering with a group of 200 doctors who will be leaving for Haiti this afternoon to assist primarily with medical care. In addition, they have purchased 24,000 bottles of water, along with food, medicines and other supplies which they will be bringing with them and distributing in the coming days.

Alert: Major Earthquake in Haiti

A major earthquake measuring  7.0 on the Richter scale hit the capital of Haiti, Port Au Prince, on January 12, 2010, bringing untold devastation to the city and surrounding areas. Hopegivers is in the process of assessing any damage and casualties to the ministries we work with in Haiti and determining the best direction for relief and recovery efforts in the coming weeks.

Report: Christmas Hope Chest Distribution and Church Dedication

It was our privilege to be in India at Christmas.  Five of us were there representing our church, Emmaus Baptist Church from Oklahoma City, OK.  Our church has recently funded the construction of a church and we traveled to India to dedicate the church and to visit Hopegivers' Ministry sites in India.

 There were 10 of us on the trip and all of our team were specifically called by God in unique ways to visit India.  This was my second trip and my wife's first visit to India. The trip was amazing and God revealed His Love through the lives and ministries of the wonderful people of Hopegivers in India.
