Wild Weather

According to the BBC, at least 28 million people in India and throughout south Asia have been affected by severe flooding. Some estimates put the death toll from the floods as high as 2,300--mostly from India, Bangladesh and Nepal. Weeks of torrential, monsoon rains and strong winds have innundated and destroyed thousands of villages, and some Hopegivers-sponsored ministries have seen damage.

Exciting Haiti News

haiti_school_girlsThis week we received word from an elated Pastor Willio regarding some very exciting news at the Haiti project. Thanks to a donation from a USA partner church, his ‘School on the Rock' now has a much larger building to call home for this year. So much larger in fact that enrollment for the coming school year has nearly doubled to 823 students!

Pastor Support Needed!

gettingready_100pxThousands of graduates (2,122 to be exact), of Hopegivers-sponsored Bible Colleges have now begun to fan out across South Asia to start their respective ministries. Many are limited however by a lack of support that leaves them unable to begin their desired outreach.

Summer VBS's Help the Orphans
