"I love radio preaching! I love literature distribution! I love street preaching! I love evangelistic crusades! But these will not reach the world with the Gospel. The answer to the problem of reaching the world for Jesus is for the local church to do what Jesus did--train laborers for the harvest field!"- Dr. MA Thomas, founder, Hopegivers International
With over 40% of the people groups in the world having yet to hear the name of Jesus, and over 143,000,000 orphans in the world today, a number which continues to grow, our work is nowhere near complete. To ensure that effective, faithful, and fruitful ministries continue to be run and started, it is vital that we invest into the lives of the young men and women who will be leading and serving in those ministries in the future.
For this reason, Hopegivers International invests heavily into equipping these future generations as they follow the Lord’s calling in their lives. We do this in THREE WAYS:
Emmanuel Theological Seminary and Bible Institutes
We are dedicated to teaching Theological Academic Excellence with a Biblical World and Missions view. We exist to train, equip, and send out laborers into the harvest field where the Gospel is yet to be preached.
Today… Over 100 Seminaries and Bible Institutes that have trained 30,000 Pioneer Missionaries, with over 40,000 churches established! To God be the glory, great things He has done!
→ Discipleship → Open-Air Preaching → Evangelism → Medicine
→ Orphan Care → Vocational Training → Bible and Tract Distribution
One Year Ministry Internship...
Based on the relationship between the Apostle Paul and his son in the faith, Timothy, our training programs require future church Pioneer Missionaries to work under a current ministry leader for a minimum of 1 year. After completion, the candidate must be approved by network pastors before being commissioned to go out with the gospel as a Pioneer Missionary.
In most places Hopegivers works around the world there is very little, if any, medical care. The care that is available is often inadequate or too expensive for the poor to receive treatment. For this reason Hopegivers provides scholarships to nursing students who desire to serve in ministry in the future. Upon graduation these students serve in our mobile medical clinics and Hope Homes. They provide much needed care to those who would not be able to afford it otherwise, and are a vital part of our Gospel Outreach Programs.
