India

Hopegivers sponsors a wide variety of projects throughout India, but most of our resources are directed towards supporting Hope Homes (orphanages), caretakers, schools, leprosy-affected communities, medical clinics, churches, and other community development projects such as building fresh water wells.

No matter the time of year or place, the list of things our brothers and sisters need is literally endless—be it school supplies, blankets, land, musical instruments, plates, buildings, motorcycles, medicine, books, rice etc...

Each project is unique and administered by different individuals, but each project we support has been thoroughly inspected and found to be run with the utmost integrity, honesty, and excellence. We only support projects that meet our high standards of quality, accountability, and reliability.

About India

India is a land of great diversity. Rich in history, heritage, culture and hospitality, India is simply 'incredible' as their tourism ad suggests. From the Himalayan north to the tropical south, India offers every imaginable experience, climate and landscape and promises to draw you back again and again with its alluring mystique. To visit India is to love India, and to love India is to know the great need that exists here.

With a total population of 1.1 billion (and growing), living on approximately one-third of the land of the US, there are many mouths to feed. We want to do our best to help this great nation of passionate, devoted people by caring for children and people in need and equipping them to lead productive lives.

As one of the world's great countries, India's importance is ever-increasing and will continue to grow in the coming years.

Between now and the year 2020, it is our goal to sponsor one million orphans in parts of the developing world that have the greatest need.
