India Slum Outreaches

In light of what Christ did while He was on the earth, we do our best to provide people and families living in underprivileged areas with food, clothes, education, hope or anything else they might need. Almost every Hopegivers-sponsored pastor has at least one poor village or slum to visit regularly, but the majority do not have the means to distribute food, medicine, clothes, or other needed items.

Many poor neighborhoods we work in do not have electricity, running water or proper sanitation. As you might imagine, the needs for this area of work are immense to say the least. That being said, God is good and we can accomplish mighty things in Him and bless so many in need!

Slums are:

  • neighborhoods that generally suffer from a lack of resources, infrastructure, education and opportunity.
  • often overcrowded, heavily polluted and beset by crime.
  • the areas that we believe Jesus would spend a good amount of His time in if He was on the earth today.
